V as a shape symbolizes first of all a container/vessel. It also refers to words such as vibration, vision, vastness, vitality, values, veracity, valorous, vulva, etc. Numeral V (5) represents balance, as well as movement, exploration and expansion.
V’s essence embodies the needed characteristics to recieve life force and start the process of V-creature. The dots serve as illustrators of that aliveness which is unknown in the beginning.
The two flowers appear when V starts processing itself. This period is protected by the spines as it’s a precious time of introspection and discovery. The whole structure refers to a heart reshapening itself – symbolically it can mean that connection to intuition is being built, thus the heart becomes stronger.
The flowers naturally reach out to the outside when clarity arises within V. V-creature is now sharing its ressources and absorbing new matter. The movement between the inside and the outside flows harmoniously and in ever abundance.
V-creature’s intention is to invite the self into a state of reflection, introspection and forward movement. Therefore, it encourages to percieve experiences as opportunities for expansion through a receptive and life-lessons-focused approach. In 2020, V-creature became a symbolic home for my artistic longterm project which has been developping since 2014. V-creature’s characteristics and unfolding process are the foundation of my artwork. Due to V-creature’s multifunctional nature, its structure also serves for other representations such as the followings : this site with its services, the body with its unique life force, the stages of individuation, the process of artistic creation, the movements of healing, etc.
